Officials investigating accident involving bicyclist and car in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. – A car hit a bicyclist on Highway 501 on Monday afternoon, Myrtle Beach Online reports.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the accident at 2:15 p.m. near Waccamaw Boulevard.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment. The nature and extent of their injuries is unclear.
There are no reported injuries for the driver.
