A Person Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to the families of all the victims. No one should have to go through the devastation of losing their own children, and we hope they’re able to find peace as they heal from this tragic accident.

If your loved one passed away due to a negligent driver, a wrongful death claim can help to cover the costs caused by the accident, including things such as funeral and burial costs, loss of companionship, and emotional pain and suffering.

To pursue such a claim successfully, a family would need to demonstrate that the at-fault party breached a duty of care they owed to the victims by conducting negligent actions, such as speeding, driving under the influence, being distracted, or engaging in some other form of negligent behavior that led to the collision. If liability can be established, the families may be entitled to compensation.
