Victim ID’ed in Greer motorcycle accident on SC-101

GREER, SC – The victim of a motorcycle accident last night in Greer has been identified by authorities, according to WYFF4.
This is an update to a previous story.
The victim is Duncan resident Edward Ransom, 55, who died around 8:30 p.m. last night on South Carolina Highway 101.
The accident happened at about 8:15 p.m. when the 1999 Suzuki motorcycle he was driving traveled off the roadway and struck a curb. The motorcycle then traveled into a ditch, killing Ransom at the scene.
He was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.
