One Dead After Car Overturns, Hits Utility Pole | Greenville, SC | Call 864 3263333

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – According to WACH, one person is dead after their car overturned and struck a utility pole Monday night.

The crash occurred on U.S. 178 near Stillwood Circle around 11 p.m., according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee.

Lee said a black Lexus was driving west on U.S. 178 when it ran off the right side of the road, flipped, and hit a utility pole. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, died in the accident.

The Orangeburg County Coroner has not released the identity of the deceased.
