Crash Alert: Passenger in single-vehicle crash dies

EDGEFIELD, SC – A passenger in a single-vehicle accident on US 25 died in a wreck on Saturday, according to the Aiken Standard.
21-year-old Briana Sikes was pronounced dead at the scene after the 6:19 p.m. accident.
A 1995 Dodge Dakota was driving north when it left the road and hit a tree.
Briana was the middle seat passenger in the pickup truck that was carrying three people at the time of the accident.
The two other occupants of the vehicle were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Neither Sikes nor the other two occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The investigation is still on-going.
