Crash Alert: Man killed when car falls on him

SPARTANBURG, COUNTY, SC – A worker died after a vehicle he was working on in a salvage shop collapsed on him Friday, according to local news.
Police responded to the accident that happened at about 12:30 p.m. at Auto Salvage Inc. on East Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer.
Jeffery Shane Hollingsworth, 38, was working under a vehicle suspended on a car lift when it collapsed and fell on him.
An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday to investigate the cause of death.
The accident remains under investigation by local law enforcement as well as OSHA.
