GREENVILLE, S.C. – One person died in a moped crash Friday, WYFF reports.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:23 a.m. when the driver veered off the right side of the road, hit a curb and, was thrown from his moped. The incident occurred on Old Buncombe Road near Blease Street in Greenville County.

Both SCHP and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office are investigating the accident.
