Man killed in pickup truck accident in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. – A man was killed when his pickup truck crashed into some trees early Monday, according to WLTX.
The crash occurred on Highway 6, near Martin-Neese Road, around 12:40 a.m., according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper David Jones.
Jones said a 2017 Toyota was driving west on Highway 6 when the vehicle ran off the road and collided with multiple trees to the left of the roadway. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died from his injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation of the accident.
