Four police officers injured in Columbia protests

COLUMBIA, SC – Four police officers were injured, with one facing serious injuries, during a protest in Columbia today, according to a report by WLTX.
Police say that while there were shots fired during the demonstration, they were not from the department.
Multiple people have been arrested in connection with the protests.
Several police cars were set aflame and damaged, as well.
There is no further information at this time regarding the circumstances of the injuries or the identity or current condition of the hurt officers.
