Fatal two-vehicle crash under investigation

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a late-night two-car accident on Highway 176, WIS News reports.
Officials said the accident occurred near the intersection of Pearl Street at 3:30 a.m. Monday, when a 2014 Ford Sedan crossed the center line and hit a 2014 Hyundai Sedan head-on.
The driver of the Ford Sedan died at the scene and EMS officials to the driver of the Hyundai Sedan to Prisma Health Richland with minor injuries.
Neither driver has been identified.
