28-year-old dead in wrong-way crash in Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, SC – A 28-year-old died in a car accident Friday on Interstate 85 Business Loop, according to a report by WSPA.
The crash occurred just after 3:30 a.m. near Exit 3 on Business I-85.
The victim is Dominique Alexander Lennon, 28, who was driving a 2009 Hyundai at the time of the accident.
The accident happened when the driver of a 2007 Jeep SUV was traveling the wrong way in the northbound lanes of Business I-85. They crashed into Lennon in a head-on collision.
Lennon died later at the hospital from crash-related injuries.
The Jeep’s driver was also taken to the hospital.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
