About Derek Brown

Derek Brown has spent the past decade fighting for injured South Carolinians in a wide range of personal injury cases, helping recover tens of millions of dollars for clients. His practice includes motor vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, premises liability, workers’ compensation claims, and other serious injury matters.

Derek is committed to ensuring his clients understand their rights and pursue the full compensation they deserve—not simply what an insurance company is willing to offer.

A native of Anderson, South Carolina, Derek earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Toccoa Falls College, where he pitched on a championship-winning baseball team. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. Today, Derek represents clients throughout South Carolina while remaining deeply connected to the Upstate community he calls home.

Outside the office, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife, Catalina, and their children, Isabella and Jack. He also enjoys fly fishing, grilling, playing golf, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
