About Anna Catherine Parham

Anna Catherine “AC” Parham is a native of Greer, South Carolina, and a personal injury attorney at Hammack Law Firm in Greenville. She represents individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of others.

AC handles cases involving car accidents, trucking collisions, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and other serious personal injury matters from inception through litigation and trial. She is actively licensed to practice law in South Carolina, Florida, and the District of Columbia.

AC earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her Master of Business Administration degree, with distinction, from The Citadel.

While in law school, AC served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the South Carolina Law Review, Chief Justice of the Moot Court Bar, and a pupil member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court. Her student note was selected for publication in the South Carolina Law Review and led to her receiving the Roberts Senior Class Writing Award.

AC also received the Kate Bockman Memorial Moot Court Competition Best Oralist Award and the Robert T. Bockman Award for overall excellence in Moot Court. She was awarded the Matthew J. Perry, Jr. Scholarship Award and the Capers Bouton Memorial Scholarship Award. AC was also the first law student to receive the University of South Carolina Presidential Coin of Excellence.

Before entering private practice, AC clerked for the Honorable Bruce Howe Hendricks of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Honorable John D. Geathers of the South Carolina Court of Appeals.

AC has received several professional recognitions. She was named a 2026 Super Lawyers Rising Star and selected for the inaugural SC BIZ Leaders in Law Awards, which recognizes individuals whose leadership in the legal profession and their communities has made a positive impact in South Carolina.

She was also named a 2026 Gamecock35 Award recipient. Presented annually by the University of South Carolina Young Alumni Council, this award recognizes outstanding alumni under the age of 35 who are making meaningful contributions to their professions and communities.

AC was named to The State newspaper’s 20 Under 40 list in 2022. She has also received the Order of the Silver Crescent, South Carolina’s highest honor for local community service awarded by the governor, and the Kentucky Colonel Award, Kentucky’s highest civilian honor awarded by the governor.

Outside her legal practice, AC is active in the Greenville community. She volunteers as a Girls on the Run coach and serves with David’s Table, a Christian nonprofit that fosters community and belonging for adults with disabilities and their families through programs rooted in faith, connection, and purpose.

AC is also a member of the Junior League of Greenville and Christ Church Episcopal. In her free time, AC enjoys marathon running and supporting women’s sports—especially the South Carolina Gamecocks. A fun fact about AC is that she recently traveled to Antarctica with her dad.
