Two People Killed in 3-Car Wreck in Orangeburg | 864 3263333

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – According to WACH, two people were killed in a three-car wreck on Monday night.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee said the accident occurred on U.S. 178 near Shillings Bridge Road around 8:20 p.m.

A Kia SUV ran a stop sign and was hit by a 2010 Lincoln traveling east on U.S. 178. The Kia ran off the road, flipped, and struck a tree. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased.

The collision caused the Lincoln to drift into the westbound lane, where it was struck by a 1988 Chevy.

The driver of the Chevy died in the collision. The driver of the Lincoln was taken to the hospital.
