Scooter Driver Killed In Crash

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. – According to WYFF, one person is dead after a scooter accident Saturday night.

Officials said the accident occurred on Lindsey Ridge Road. Authorities say the scooter rider hit a curb and was thrown from the vehicle. South Carolina Highway Patrol said the operator was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner has not yet released the identity of the deceased.
