PELZER, S.C. -A car chase by Anderson County deputies ended when the vehicle they were pursuing crashed into a power pole, the Journal Online reports.

West Pelzer firefighters reported to the scene at Old River Road and Bryant Road after the collision.

In order to stop the car on the run, Anderson County deputies used stop sticks which caused the car run on its rims.
