One Taken To Hospital After Bus Catches Fire In Pelzer

PELZER, SC – One person was airlifted to the hospital Sunday afternoon when a bus caught fire at a Pelzer gas station.
Fox Carolina reports that the accident happened around 3:50 p.m. at the Shell station on Easley Highway.
A witness reports that the bus driver was attempting to refuel the bus while it was still on.
One unidentified person suffered burn injuries and was flown to the hospital by LifeFlight. There is no information available at this time regarding their identity or their current condition.
