SIMPSONVILLE, SC (GREENVILLE COUNTY)– A motorcyclist died in an accident last night after being rear-ended by another motorist in Greenville County, according to reports by WYFF4 and Fox Carolina.

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. on Northeast Main Drive and Springdale Drive when the driver of a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle slowed to make a left turn.

A 2017 Nissan Sentra reportedly driven by Guianella Diaz-Munoz, 22, struck the motorcyclist from behind. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of impact.

They were brought to the hospital, where they died of injuries sustained during the crash.

There is no information at this time regarding the identity of the victim.

Diaz-Munoz has been charged with driving too fast for road conditions.
