Man Struck And Killed By Car While Pushing Moped

BLACKSBURG, S.C. – According to WYFF, a man was struck and killed while pushing his moped in the middle of the street Wednesday night.
Police say the accident occurred on South Charleston Street around 9:30 p.m.
Jimmy Williams, of Blacksburg, was pushing his moped in the middle of the street along the white line when he was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Authorities say Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup was not injured the crash.
