Greenwood man killed in hit-and-run accident on his birthday

GREENWOOD, S.C. – WYFF reports that a Greenwood man was killed by a truck in a hit-and-run accident on his birthday early Friday.
The Greenwood County coroner said Eddie Morgan, 62, was found on the Montage Avenue Extension around 12:23 a.m.
Morgan was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, the coroner said.
Morgan died at Self Medical Center from blunt force trauma.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking for a 2003-2006 Ford F-150 pick-up truck, which may be white.
Troopers believe the truck will have damage to its left front and driver’s side, and the driver’s side mirror is likely missing.
