GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -A motorcyclist died after hitting a tree in the road Tuesday, WYFF 4 reports.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, at around 1 p.m. the driver of a Ducati motorcycle was going south on Langley Road when the bike struck a tree in the road.

It is unknown if the victim was wearing a helmet.

There is no information on the name of the driver. This is an ongoing investigation and any new information will be updated accordingly.
