ABBEVILLE, SC – A driver of a pickup truck fled the scene after an accident involving a motorcycle last night six miles north of Abbeville, according to a report by Fox Carolina.

The accident happened around 9:10 p.m. near South Carolina Highway 201 and Milford Dairy Road when a Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, possibly a green Toyota Tacoma.

The riders of the motorcycle were ejected from the vehicle and received non-life-threatening injuries that led them to be taken to the hospital. They were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

The pickup truck left the scene, and authorities are currently searching for the driver.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
