Woman Killed in Single-Car Accident on Westin Road - (864) 326 - 3333

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC – A woman was killed in an accident in the Hopkins area on Wednesday afternoon, according to WLTX.com.

A 2002 Jeep Cherokee swerved back and forth across on Westin Road near 1 p.m. before rolling and ejecting both the driver and the passenger.

The driver was transported to a local hospital but the severity of their injuries was not specified.

The passenger, 20-year-old Grace Page of Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy concluded that her death was a result of blunt force trauma to her head.

Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.

The accident is still under investigation.
