Crash Alert: Single-car accident results in death

CHESTER COUNTY, SC – A single-car accident resulted in the death of the driver near Great Falls on Thursday, according to local news.
A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was driving on South Carolina Route 97 when the driver lost control, left the road, hit a sign, and overturned in an embankment. The accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m.
No passengers were involved in the crash. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. They were not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver’s name has not been made public.
