Crash Alert: Interstate 85 the site of several accidents Monday

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC – Interstate 85 in Anderson was the site of several unrelated accidents on Monday afternoon, according to Fox News Carolina.

In addition to an overturned tractor-trailer, a car fire was reported along with two other collisions all near mile marker 29 in Anderson.

At this time, details about the fire and collisions are sparse, however, a South Carolina state trooper said that several ambulances were at the site of the incidents that involved as many as nine vehicles.

The southbound lanes of Interstate 85 were closed and drivers through the area were experiencing extensive delays on Monday afternoon.
