Crash Alert: Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC – A hit-and-run involving a bicyclist left investigators on the lookout on Friday, according to WYFF4.com.

The accident happened at about 7 a.m. on Pickens Drive near Piedmont. The bicyclist was hit from behind and the vehicle fled the scene before emergency workers were able to arrive.

The victim was transported by helicopter to Greenville Memorial.

Investigators have not offered a description of the vehicle other than to suggest that it might have damage to the right front and passenger side and broken headlight.
