Child dies from falling swing set

GREENVILLE, S.C. – A falling swing set hit and killed an 8-year-old girl Thursday evening, the Greenville News reports.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the child was playing at a family member’s home in Piedmont when a swing set overturned and struck her.
Emergency responders transported her to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The exact cause of death is unknown. This is an ongoing investigation, and will be updated if possible.
