Bicyclist killed in Florence County collision

FLORENCE, S.C. – According to WBTW, a bicyclist was struck by a car and killed Friday night.
South Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at Isgett Road and Old River Road around 9:30 p.m.
According to Master Trooper Brian Lee, a bicyclist was riding north when they were struck from behind by a 2007 Lexus sedan, also headed northbound. The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet and died from their injuries.
Authorities have not yet released any names.
