Two dead in Pickens motorcycle accident

    PICKENS, SC (PICKENS COUNTY) – An early-morning motorcycle accident claimed the lives of two people today in Pickens County, according to a report by WSPA.

    The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. at 263 Old Liberty Pickens Road.

    The victims are Pickens man Thomas Cody Bowen, 30, and Belton woman Amanda Faye Neely, 39. They were not wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.

    The victims died at the scene of the accident.

    Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
