LAURENS, SC – Four people were hurt in an accident early this morning at the Laurens County Speedway, according to WYFF4.

The incident occurred when the recent-model car jumped over a wall and crashed through a fence, sending two people to the hospital by ground ambulance and two by airlift.

The victims’ injuries are not expected to be life-threatening at this time.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
