WELLFORD, S.C. - Road work is set to begin this week on Fort Prince Boulevard near Wellford, the Spartanburg Herald-Journal reports. Work will continue through July.

The project will include cement reclamation, Sloan Construction said.

Construction is set to begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday and continue for four weeks, from Fort Prince up to Falling Creek Road.

Drivers are encouraged to stay out of the area to prevent cement residue from getting on their vehicles.
