GREENVILLE, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol took to Twitter in another effort by law enforcement to save lives.

"Trooper Brian" reminded drivers that increased traffic in the summer also means an uptick in car accidents as people travel for vacation and beach getaways.

He and fellow troopers even have a name for the time between Memorial Day and Labor Day: "The 100 Deadly Days of Summer."

He concludes by reminding drivers and passengers to always wear a seatbelt.
