We are sad to say that a teenage driver has passed away after a collision in Greenville County. According to state troopers, the crash occurred Saturday morning on SC-11, just after 1:15 am. Troopers say that the teen was attempting a three-point turn when they were hit by a truck.
The victim, identified by the coroner’s office as 17-year-old Amy Sosa, unfortunately, died at the scene of the crash. The passenger in the truck was flown to the hospital via helicopter, and EMS took a passenger in the car to the hospital.
The coroner states that Amy Sosa would have turned 18 on Sunday.
