A Personal Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Deputy Davis as he recovers from his injuries and to the child injured in this accident.
As there is a DUI charge, fault is clearly established, and the deputy injured can file a personal injury suit to recover the damages suffered as a result. By filing a claim, he could receive a settlement to cover current and future medical expenses, pain and suffering, and even punitive damages that resulted from the accident.
