Spartanburg Crash Leaves 1 Dead and 2 Injured

The Details:
Thursday, May 4, a crash occurred in Spartanburg that resulted in a man being killed and two people being injured, according to the Spartanburg Police Department.
The crash happened on Southport Road in Spartanburg as a 1994 Toyota Corolla was pulling out of a Bojangles parking lot when it was hit by a 2016 Acura TLX headed south, Police say.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office has since identified the victim as Wyatt Young McDaniel, 77, of Spartanburg.
McDaniel was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:25 p.m., according to the coroner.
