The Details:

On Wednesday, July 5th, around 9:45 p.m., a pedestrian was killed in a crash in Greenville County.

The crash happened along Highway 25 when troopers say a pedestrian crossing the road first made contact with an SUV and then was hit by a tractor-trailer.

The pedestrian died at the scene, and according to The Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.

The pedestrian has since been identified as Kenneth Aaron Strider, 39, of Wilmington, North Carolina, by the coroner.

No one else was injured in the crash.
