
GREER, S.C. – A Greer man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning, WYFF reports.
John Thomas Stanfield, 43, evidently lost control of his vehicle and crashed at 1941 Gibbs Shoals Road shortly before 4 a.m on May 22.
Emergency responders pronounced Stanfield dead at the scene, according to Coroner Parks Evans of the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the chest.
