
SPARTANBURG, SC – A Greenville man was killed in a mechanical accident at a Spartanburg recycling plant yesterday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 1:30 p.m. at the CMC Recycling plant on Nazareth Church Road, according to WYFF4.
The victim is 68-year-old Greenville man Freddie Calvin Williams, Jr.
The accident was caused by a broken mechanical part that Williams was reportedly working on.
An autopsy was scheduled to be held today.
