Greenville 4 Car Crash Results in Injuries and DUI Charge

The Details:

On Friday, June 23, a crash occurred involving four cars, according to The Greenville Police Department.

The crash happened near Bob Jones University on Wade Hampton Boulevard and Pleasantburg Drive.

Two people were taken to the hospital for injuries, and officers arrested 19-year-old Eric Fain for charges of driving under the influence.

A Personal Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

Driving under the influence is a careless, detrimental act, and our thoughts and prayers for recovery go out to those injured.

Due to the DUI charge, negligence is a clear factor in this incident. As such, the injured parties in this accident would have a strong case to file a personal injury suit to recover compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and more.

Even with a DUI charge, these cases can be complex, so having an attorney on your side to explain applicable laws and case deadlines could be beneficial. Our team will walk you through South Carolina’s laws and explain how they apply to your claim.
