
MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. — A car wreck in Bennettsville Tuesday afternoon left a deputy injured, ABC 15 reports.
According to Lt. Trevor Murphy of the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy suffered minor injuries after he was involved in a car accident on Marlboro Street.
A car allegedly ran a stop sign and then t-boned the deputy’s vehicle, Murphy said.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
