Crash Near Bishopville Leaves 1 Dead and 1 Injured

The Run-Down:
On Saturday, October 1, a car collided head-on with another vehicle resulting in one dead and one injured near Bishopville. The accident happened around 11:40 p.m. close to Golf Cart Road.
According to troopers, a Dodge Ram going south on US 15 hit a GMC Yukon head-on after trying to cross the road. The driver of the Ram was injured as a result and airlifted to a hospital in Florence, while the driver of the Yukon died at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
