
CHARLESTON, S.C. – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a motorist on the Cosgrove Bridge early Wednesday, according to WCBD.
The Charleston Police Department said a Chrysler Town and Country minivan was driving northbound on the Cosgrove Bridge when the vehicle struck a bicyclist just before 5:00 a.m.
The bicyclist was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he died of his injuries.
Authorities say the crash is currently under investigation.
