A Personal Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:
It’s every cyclist and their loved ones’ worst fear to be hit by a negligent driver. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family at this dark time. We’re so sorry that a senseless tragedy like this occurred.
However, pedestrian and bicycle accidents happen every day— many of which are completely avoidable. In cases where the accident resulted from another driver’s negligence or recklessness, the cyclist’s family may have a valid basis for filing a wrongful death lawsuit. This legal recourse aims to hold those responsible accountable for their actions and provide financial support to the grieving family during this difficult time.
